Tarkin is live, this means all you have to do is register on the forums and post an introduction. You will then recieve login details in a PM on the forums. Tarkin is a fully functional server running SWGEmu Core3 that has been operational 23/7 for the last 5 months. We are running backups every 2 hours and we will never again wipe our server.

Not only do we have a fully functional server, we also have some neat functions unique to Tarkin. We have 4 character slots, we have enabled player housing inside Coronet! We have Blue Frogs with some functionality that will make it easier for you to start playing and have fun right away.

We grant the crafting professions on the Blue frog, we see no reason for you to have to grind the crafting professions, we want you to start crafting the good stuff right away. Player housing in Coronet also means you can put down your own Merchant tent around the merchant square in Coronet. More cities besides Coronet are added with Player City Fuctionality.

We are also making other unique Canon features that will make your life in the Galaxy more fun and entertaining than on a standard EMU server. More info about that in this link. We also recomend you to read up on the upcoming feature "Factional Advanced Rapid Transit".

This system is designed to make better use of all the various military POIs across the galaxy, by relocating most GCW functionality to the military bases and POIs. This system is also designed to offer more travel destinations on various planets given the lack of classic player city shuttleports out in the empty areas.

As such, the various military bases will be connected via a SEPARATE travel network, not connected to the civilian shuttle system. Instead, they will be assigned a special NPC called a "Travel Coordinator" that will be able to INSTANTLY transport a factional player to any same-faction military base of their choosing, paying Faction Points for the privilege.
